I love working with people - it's my vocation
Working to enable you to know more about who you are, to notice how you feel, and have greater satisfaction in yourself. This is the focus in my work.
I love working with people and know this is my vocation. My approach in the way I work, is helping you to understand more about your own thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I hold a strong belief that people can change, if they want to. My personal experience of this work continually helps me to enrich my life.
Since 1990, I have been actively involved in my own personal development and in 1994/5 I began my counselling skills and theory studies. A year later I started my psychotherapy training with Spectrum. (Spectrum has been established over 30 years as a teaching centre and clinical practice for humanistic and integrative psychotherapy.)
I am qualified and experienced, with training being experientially based from a wide range of therapeutic theories and practises.
In 1998 I gained experience working in a doctors surgery. After a couple of years, I set up my private practice in Wanstead, here I meet to work with clients.
I want to deepen and enjoy the excitement I feel about life, including being present in the way I work with each person. Working in ways in which I can be effective and true to myself. The desire to enable clients feel more satisfaction and happiness, is the focus and purpose in my work. The privilege to witness those changes that often happen, I fully appreciate and hold special.
Since 1994 I have been in constant professional training. I am a Spectrum Graduate and attend regular ongoing supervision and post-qualification professional trainings.
I appreciate and respect a person's confidentiality and boundaries.
I bring all I have learned in my life and my extensive trainings, to my work with each person. Being respectful and abiding by they U.K.C.P.(United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) I hold professional liability insurance and have references from local doctors.
